Hanayo Sora (aka Hana-chan or Sora) is a young female Artisan who made her first online appearance in 2015 as a online webtoonist. She is currently known for her fan animations, “Demon Slayer: Another World”, and her commissions for Twitch Streamers and YouTubers like Emirichu, Scarle Yonagumi, RiikamiVT and KenjiVA. In her lore, she spends her time in a secret location called, "The Emporium", where she spends her days creating beautiful artifacts for her clients and loved ones. Oh. And her favorite sweets are cookies.

Toki
Despite her soft, rabbit-like appearance, Toki is a highly intelligent and mischievous creature who usually plays as Hanayo's cynical straight man in her comics. She is most known for constantly stealing Hanayo's secret stash of cookies.

Elias "The Seeker"
Elias helps with multiple behind-the-scene tasks that are vital to Hanayo's work. His origin, and history with Hanayo is yet to be shared, but her reels and artwork show that they have a very close friendship. According to Hanayo's posts, Elias is unable to speak and relies on a necklace amulet to "safely transmits his thoughts into audible speeches".

Hanayo's fanbase. They were officially introduced during her 100k YouTube Subscriber post. According to the post, "they are fluffy balls of light that bring great happiness and good fortune to those who take interest in them." Whispers, please continue to support Hanayo!
Fan Questions
Q: Why did you choose the name, "Hanayo Sora"? A: In kanji, Hanayo Sora is spelled “花世 空”which can be translated as, “A world of flowers and skies” or "A world of lovely/glorious skies". But ofttimes, it has been translated as "This World of Flowers is Empty". In short, it is the reflection of Hanayo Sora's journey as a Creator and a person.
Q: When's the next Demon Slayer AU animation coming out? A: Soon. While you're waiting, you can check out HanayoSora's other works or follow her on social media to stay up to date with her projects! Supporting her on Patreon is another great way to help her make animations (and possibly hurry up the process)!
Q: What Software do you use to make your Animations? A: Hanayo Sora is constantly trying new programs for her animations. So far, the best program is HitFilm. She also uses Clip Studio Paint, VSDC free video editor, and, sometimes, Movie Maker. Sometimes Audacity is used to record and mix the audios.
Q: Can I redub/add translations to your fan animation videos? A: Yes, you may! BUT! Please follow ALL of these three simple rules: 1. DO NOT purposely remove or crop out my videos' watermark or signature(s). 2. Always CREDIT HANAYOSORA and link the original video in your description. 3. If you want to monetize your video (like if you're a reaction channel), then please e-mail me for permission first! If these rules are now followed, we WILL be forced to take action against your video.
Q: Did you just edit/trace your Demon Slayer AU series? A: The characters and the majority of backgrounds were redrawn from scratch. The original series and official reference sheets are used as reference to help replicate the art-style as close as possible. Because Nezuko and Tanjiro have different physique, the only similarity between the original scene with Tanjiro and the fanmade scene with Nezuko are the camera angle, pose (which also sometimes gets altered to replicate Nezuko's feminine gracefulness), and occasional lip sync. Everything else has been altered in someway to remain consistent with the characters' original design (subtle changes include fingers stubbiness, hand size, eye size, eyelashes, skin tone, neck and wrist thickness, shoulder size, chest size, etc.) None of the scenes from Hanayo Sora's fan animations are raw screenshots or video clips directly re-posted. The changes may be subtle, but they have all been tweaked, edited and/or recreated from the original source.
Q: If You Can Make Original Content, Why Do You Make Fan Content? A: Hanayo Sora does plan to create more "original" projects, and she hopes to toggle between original animations and fan animations in the future. However, she has always enjoyed making fan content and doesn't plan to permanently stop making them.
Q: Will you continue to make more "Demon Slayer: Another World" Animations? A: For now, but probably not for the rest of Hanayo Sora's YouTube life. Even before YouTube and Aniplex's copyright problems, it was never her intention to practically recreate the entire “Demon Slayer” series. This short AU series was just her way of expressing her love for the series while promoting it to newcomers, and personally challenge and teach herself to that level of animations and art-quality. (There are other fun animations currently in the works!)
